Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. Business owners additionally provide their business name and service details.

Booking Information

When you make a booking, we store the service booked, date and time, total amount, and booking status. This data is necessary to provide the service.

Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We do not store your credit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details on our servers. We receive confirmation of payment status and a transaction ID from Razorpay after a successful payment.

Usage Data

We may collect basic usage data such as pages visited, device type, and browser information to improve our platform. This data is not linked to your identity.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process and confirm bookings
• Display your bookings in your dashboard
• Send booking confirmation and status updates
• Enable businesses to manage their appointments
• Improve and maintain the platform
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With service businesses: When you book a service, the business can see your name and contact information to manage your appointment.
• With Razorpay: For payment processing. Razorpay is bound by their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
• With Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Your data is stored in their secure infrastructure.
• If required by law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

BookMySlot uses cookies solely to maintain your authentication session. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are kept for a minimum of 12 months for operational and legal purposes. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Portability: Request an export of your data in a structured format.

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and we do not store payment card details. While no system is completely secure, we continuously monitor and improve our security practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email or through a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
